At 7PM, the Quality of Life/Public Safety Committee will hold a round table discussion on the establishment of "Villages" in our neighborhoods. Villages are grass-roots efforts to assist and engage those who wish to remain in their community as they age.
At 8PM, the Land Use/Transportation Committee will hold a round table discussion on transportation management in Bethesda, Friendship Heights, and North Bethesda with representatives of the local transportation management districts. Also on the agenda is a discussion of the feasibility of a direct bus connection between Bethesda and Friendship Heights.
