Advisory Board to hold biennial Capital Budget Forum on July 30

County Executive Ike Leggett, Office of Management and Budget, and the Western Montgomery County Citizens Advisory Board invite you to this opportunity to learn about the Capital Improvements Program (CIP), provide input, and get answers to your questions. The CIP is the County's fiscal plan for construction of facilities and other assets having a relatively long life - i.e. new schools, road work, library rennovations, etc. (See the list of current local projects.)

The forum will be held July 30, 7-9pm, at the BCC Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor Lane, Bethesda.

The forum will help you:

1. Learn about how your County's physical facilities (roads, buildings, etc) are developed.

2. Provide input for projects to be considered in the future and help us set construction and planning priorities.

3. Get answers to your questions directly from various County Departments about any project, the process, time-frames and additional opportunities for community engagement.

For more information, see the 2011 letter from the WMCCAB the section of the County Executive's Recommended FY13-18 CIP which discusses this process.
